BLooGG :)
so i LOVE the movie we watched in class all last week, The Illusionist...im really starting to find out that i lyk mysteries alot more than i thot i did..well i have the illusionist @ home so im watchin it lol..its not the same as it was n our dark classroom tho..mayb ill save it for night time..but bigg newss!! Moms pregnant lol so i have to make sure i have all my responisblities taken care of and more so i wont put any stress on her snce shes high riskk..ivee been doin pretty guuud @ it too..i knda dnt mind helpn out..even tho my lill sister can be a smart littl bratt sometymes,, its possible to have funn with her too :)..mann..her beinn pregoo suxx n a way too..shes moody, tired, and moody, and sometimes lazy..o and did i mention moody?? sometimes i jus wanna take a skillet and ....... : X but i still love her.. yesterday i had plannd to go see the guys jv bbal team playy with Kiki and Nicolette but she ddnt feel lyk gettn up!...i cleand my room and everythng (thats alot cuzz it was lookn a hot steamy mess! lol) but @ least nstead of goiin to the game i did some pre-christmas shopping..tht wasn't too upsetting..lol itss still hardd ghettn over all ths dramma thts goinn on but ill b str8 knowin that his best frend feels the same way i do.. n all the girlss i kno aren't on his side.. but dnt need it anyway lookn 4ward to all the bawfas n the future lol (insider;) imma go ahead n get back to my moovie talk to me! peace and love ;)..

sooo..this weekend went by knda fast..i had a game friday.. i saw people supportn!! lol but it was funn even tho i ddnt gett to play that much because the stuupid reffs werent doin there jobs rite and keppt calln fouls on mee..goodness gracious lol i had lyk 3 fouls n the first quarter!! OMG! lol butt it was all guud because we bleww Lancaster out by lyk 20 points anywayy..the team ddnt need me to muchh so that was a pluss..i wentt to Courtnee Baker's All Black Everythng sweet 16 and it took a while to get started but i eendd up havnn a lot of funn : )!!. i hadd bbal practice that morning n it wasnt too intense since we hadd a good game the other day.. the coaches do want me to practice my shootin a littl bit tho.. i thnk if i improvv on that varsity pt might be in the future..ooooo lol..n i prctice with varsity so that should help too..i had a choir concert today twice..it was funn : ) the chilln part of it was really funn and relaxing.. i was strtin to get sleepy.. but we did good both times we sang..i hope we hav skool tmmrw! the snow is ridiculously high and i heard more is coming..YIKES lol i love being @ skool!.. the movie n Mr. Potter's class was knda bone chilling.. lol but ill b afraid of almost anythng lol hope we gett to wach more of those! lol weellp i gotta do mre hw so imm gonna deuce out!! peace and love peeps!! lol : )

Just Blogging..
so ddnt do quite that much this weekend..i drove to a couple Giant Eagle and went on the freeway again...not bad for a person without her temps..ive been looking @ scholarships n stuff too..i had bball practice saturday mornin and a funeral : / but im okay i gess...nuthn really happen this weekend....O! i had a bbal game friday @ Groveport!! All tteams bleww them out the water..JV in particular beat them by 41 points!! WOW-neverr done that before..lol and before the game, me, Nicolette, and T'awnna all walkd home with Demarcus and LaVe'l..it was really funn..Keronn and someone were walkin behind uss...i knda wantd to say something but i kept my mouth closed and kept walkin so i cuud try to hav some funn...lol when we got around the corner to walk up to his hous, we saw his grandma stairn down @ us threw the upstairs window!! YIKES!! lol it scared me soo bad.. lol i was crackin up cuzz i was so anxious and nervous lol and i had tears in my eyes cuzz i was laughin soo hard!! lol N on top of that Demarcus ddnt hav a key so he kknockd on the door and i thot she was about to answer the door!! lol but his grandpa opendd the door and let uss n.. lol that was funny but we came inside and chilld for a littl and then went to the stor and got some snacks before we came back to the school..im kndda lookin forward to sharring our summaries in english class tommorw...and listening to music w/ my NEW headphones llol-insider lol but imm gonna go ahead and gett off of here so i can grubb!!..peace and love! : ) lol

Blogging....Sike! Paragraphs lol
1. The story Night John told how hard it was to be a slave and how the story of slavery was important and needed to be shown. Night John was a slave who ran away and came back to teach slaves to read. Sarny was one of the main characters and she was being taught letters and how to read by Night John. She first learns when she trades tobacco for an A. Night John wanted to teach Negroes to read because he wanted the people in the North to know what was being done to black people in the south. Alice was a slave that had been beaten so many times she became mentally ill. She refused to be a breeder and was tied down to let it happen. Alice wandered around the master's house and was whipped by the master on the wall of the spring house. The master used a rawhide whip cut from an old gin belt used on cotton to whip her until her back was ripped and bleeding. The rest of the slaves had to watch while she was whipped and salt was rubbed into her cuts. Mammy was a mother-like figure in the story and helped look after the children and stitch Alice. Alice was a great example of how hard it was being a slave and the physical and mental tole it took on a person. She also showed how important it was to tell how the slaves were being treated.
2. Mascot was a story about Malcolm X's childhood and the people who had an impact on him. Malcolm's mother was mentally ill. He misbehaved in school and was sent to different reform schools in Michigan. He was the only black person in his class but he performed at the top of his class. He wanted to become a lawyer when he grew up, but his white teacher told him to be more realistic since he was a nigger. He said he was good with his hands and carpentry would be better for him. Mr. Ostrowski, Malcolm's teacher, laughed thorugh Negro history, and had no respect for the negro people. Mr. Ostrowski read that slaves were lazy, dumb, and shiftless. He told the class how Negroes' feet were "so big that when they walk, they don't leave tracks, they leave a whole in the ground." Malcolm stated that if Ostrowski would have given Malcolm a good influence, he would be a successful black bourgeoisie. Malcolm was elected class president and said he was proud and didn't have feeling about being a Negro because he was trying in every way to be white. Mr. Ostroswki was one person in Malcolm X's childhood who had an impact on him.

In the movie The Great Debaters, Samantha Booke became a lawyer when she got out of college and in Mascot, Malcolm wanted to be a lawyer when he grew up. In The Great Debaters, Samantha Booke was supported by her town, her teamates, and many others, but in Mascot, Malcolm was told he couldn't become a lawyer and didn't have that much support. In all of the stories, the main characters were all trying to reach a certain goal of theirs'. The settings in Night John and The Great Debaters were both down in the south. In the book Night John, Pawley would go see his girlfriend at night and the master let the dogs out to get him and in The Great Debators, Henry Lowe went out to see a girl one night and got in trouble when he came back. My Weekend?!?!? Lol
my weekend wasn't too bad even though it blew past really fast..friday i had a pretty guud day snce there were shortened periods in alot uv my classes it was laid-back : )...uhmm i had so funn @ the pepp rally w/ myy peeps..even though the juniors won everything..: PPP lol butt wachin the stepp teamm was pretty intertaining too : ) i saww Alexiss doinn her thangg!! HAYY lol gett it gurrl!! lol othrrs were showinn theirr stuff too butt in my opinion sheess tha bestest!! ; ) lol..and i found out y tha uthr half of the gym was goin crazy when they strrtd bending over!! lol one of the bggr girllys had a thong on and it wass showin!!! woww!! thats immbarrasing!! lol salt! but i liked when they were dancing when black and yellow (blue and gold lol) came on..but i coulddnt hear annythngg he was saying.. but hey it wass creative thoo..and it knda takes alott uv guutts to perform in frnt of ur entire skool so ill give him the b of the d...i hadd a scrimmage satturday @ olentangy orange and wee ddnt do too bad..i know i was goin pretty hard : ) lol and when you go hard there mite be sacrafices made...like gettng elbowd n tha jaw and not being able to close ur mouth (ouchh..alot), or gettn busttd in the lipp severall tymss to the point where you have 4-5 cutts on the INSIDE of ur mouth and your bottom lipp looks lyk you have herpes (which i dnt..JUST A SIMILIE)..then sunday we had bbal piccs.. tht wasn't as gruesome lol butt i looking 4ward to waching the rest of The Great Debators if we finish it next week snce we only hav two days of skool.. well ive writtn WAY too much so imm gonna get my butt off uv here peace & love : )

Bloggy Blogg! Lol
what's up?! lol i had a pretty guud weeknd! :) it started off friday night when i had a bbal tournament @ Reynoldsburg... i saw a coulpe of old friends i had to play against and family :)....i found out my cousin was there aftr someone attackd me from behind aftr my team got through the door lol (it was her) lol she plays bbal too but shes injurred it suxx really bad cuzz shes really guud..shes a senior @ B-Have lol but back to my team-wee won all of our games accept the one game we tied...WOOT WOOT GO LIONS!!! lol im ever-so proud of myself! i scored 12 points! wowzers!! lol thts not bad 4 a post rite!? lol and especially cuzz last year i succked....lyk really bad lol hopefully i can keep up the good work :) we stayd @ the tournament for forever cuzz wee ddnt get home untill lyk 9:30..WOW!! thts knda close to my bedtym..lol jk but i was supper tired and hungry and luckily i gott pizza YAY AGAIN!! lol but the nexx day we had a 8 o'clock prctice...grrr : /... i dnt undrstand y we cnt jus skipp the prctice iff we did really guud @ the scrimagess..but anyway.. i got my hair done today : ) its a littlle shorter than i wanted cuzz my mom ddnt want me to look 'grown'..but i gess ill jus have to deal with it lol but im gonna go ahead and get off of here peace and love! : )..

Blogg Blogg!! Lol
immm soooo angry at thiss bloggy thngyy rite noww...i jus wrote lyk my whole blogg and it erased for no crappy reason OMG IM GONNA KILL THIS THNG!!! GRRRRR...but here we go again....this is like the latest ive ever stayd up for a blogg...knda but anyways had a pretty guud weekend :) got to sleep n saturday befor my bball scrimmage! wee scrimmagd against two diffrnt teams @ Whitehall. ourr team ddnt do to shabby for our frst scrimmage of the season! lol i got a lot of playn tym and scored some points-YAY lol but Gahanna Christian was foulin a lot...rn't they supposd to b lyk reall religious and gracious and knd??.. well thy werent playn lyk it... but at least we took it and still won against them :) lol we got pizza afterwards and pop and cookies n then got on the buss and almost snnoozd but the skool wasnt that farr away so that wouuld b pointless.. aftr spent some quality tym w/ tha popps and made a cake! lol i was slappn pretty hard lol i should sell those thngs man lol ill take any offers lol jus text or call...or message me lol ths morning me n tha fam did some MASSIVE grocery shoppn lol my bak was hurrtn from walkn around so much! -WOW lol but had a volleyball banquet aftr tht and the stupd GPS got us partially lost so we arrivd knda late...well at least we came lol but it was funn seein everyone again! and now i get to put all of my varsity nd junior varsity patches on my letterman jacket! and track :) YAY AGAIN lol ready to see if that guy on that trial is really guilty in the end or not....i thnk he was guilty but n the end of the book everyone wil vote not guilty bcuz of the twistd facts...but i kno for sure tht was more than 15 minutes of writng so imm gonna get off now..peace and lovve :)

Juss Another Post...
OMG i reallly dnt feel like typn lyk @ all aftr i jus finished typn up that final paper....it was 8 frakn pages!!! WOW! lol n snce our paper is supposed to b 4-6 pages, i had to cutt out some of the paragraphs i spent alllll of my tym on...grrr!! but other than that stressfull situation...i had lots-o-funn this weekend! lol i got to c a movie w/ my best person n tha world tht i will love forever and ever!! lol :) we saw devil....yikes!! we were both jumpin lol dnt wanna c tht agin... im suprrisd i ddnt scream lol but i finally made tha gurrrliesss jv bbal team!! :) lol now me n justin can show Mr. Potter how to play bbal lol but sadddly :(...my tv is dying!! NOOO!!!.. i turnt it on and i cuudnt c anythng but i cuud hear everythng.....poop....nstead of gettn a old tv tht will probly die soon i gess ill jus wait near Christmas to get a flat screen...im gonna miss tht entertaining thing tho...: (...but the world isnt over i stil have lyk 4 more tvs n tha hous to resort to lol i shuud b abl to stick it out for about a month...welll imm gonna ffinish puttn my folder togthr now for tmmrrw so peace and love!! lol : )

Postss....
idk if its just me but this weekend went by extremely fast....mayb its cuzz i was knda busy..idk lol but anyways i was n some serious shock when my volleyball team was leavin our tournament...we had lost so everybody was in a down mood cuzz we couldnt talk on the buss ride home..but on our way out,, our coach rann back inn the gym and we thought he 4got somethn...but wenn we looked str8 ahead..we saww one of the reffs lying on the mens bathroom floor twitching as if he was uncontious....WOOW were we scared out of our minds..it turns out he slipped on his way out of the bathroom and he couldnt moove..( that explained him twiching on the floor..he was trying to get upp.) Riley is training at the career center to be a nurse soo he was the frst one att the rescue lol but wee called the ambulancee and we all sat on the buss watching in anitcipation as they hoisted him onto a stretcher and dummped him on the truck..that was really scaryy.. i jus hope that guy is okay.....othr than that scarry incident,, my weeknd wasnt too bad lol but imm gonna go ahead and gett my booty off uv here lol peace and love! : )

Long Weeknd Post!!! :D
YAAAAAY! so we dont have skool ths thursday and friday and im so happyy!!. Tht means sleepn in late and gettn homework done and posibly go out with frends!!. well i jus got back from Alyssa Rapleje's house..we were filming our talk show for spanish and it was HILARIOUS.. lol We did What Not To Wear and i was the lady who had her baby and was havn troubl gettn back into the groov of fashion and havin a nice bodyy...so i had to do sitt ups and jogg and jumping jacks and arm curls and suff....lmbo the sitt ups were so hard to do cuz of the bigg old pillow tucked into my pants and shirt lol... it was soo funn... Evan playd Stacey and had to put on a dress so we had to get him heels and sox for boobs lol he had a glittery headband on and a necklace lol he had the hand and hip motions down pack lol it was sooo funny u hadd to b there...lol but u werent lol...but i had my last volleyball game : '( sadly.. it was funn while it lasted....now on to BASKETBALL.. i know Mr. Potter gets excited when he sees that word..lol but i got more than 55 notecards done for the paper : ) and i got my works cited draft done so i should be good for tmmrw...well its tym for me to get all tha othr stuff i have to do done so im deucin out... peace and love : )

so i had a really funn time @ the homecoming game and @ homecoming!! : ) i had a lot of funn with frends and danced alot! still tired from all of the madness and want some sleep! everyone was really sweaty from all of the dancin the crowdedness (if that is a word)..umm i hate when i go to a classroom and find out were in the library!! Then i have to bust my booty to get down there! people always look @ me funny and laugh @ me in the hallways!.. but hey..@ least im not late! : ) lol. irdk how to find this style manual Mr. Potter wants us to print out... and ive checked like every link on google... i hope i can get some help with that tmmrww..but i got all my bibs and some info on them so im pretty much good to go!! that should be about 15 minutes of writing so imma jus logg out now..peace and love boyyyee!! lol : )

POST!!
so last week was preetty awesome like my weeks usually are..got some good grades on some tests : ) and had funny tlkin n clownin w/ tha peeps lol but my schedule was really jam packed last week!! i had 3 back to back home games for volleyball and had lots of homework! yikes!! i stayed up till lyk 11:00 and i still didnt read all of the chapters we were supposed to read.. i read them the next morning tho so i would know what we were talking about! ii had alot on my mind these last few weeks so i forgot to dress up for the choir concert on friday!! OMG!! i thought Mr. Lahman was gonna kikk my pattoooteee lol but he ddnt cuz snce i stand in the back row he had no clue i had pants on!! YAY!! so happy he ddnt notice cuzz ddresin up is for a gradde!! wowzerss! lol Deonte thnks hes a vollleyball player and a baller!! lol he definately needs to pick one or the other and i advise him to pick bein a baller cuz he cnt hit the ball to save his life!! LMBO! u needed to b there lol but thats about 15 minutes worth so imma deuce out now!! peace and love homeskillet!! : )

Posting Again..
had alot of fun on friday : ) i went to Ashland Chemicals in Dublin and got a tour of the building and got to see what they actually do there and the projects that they work on. Im really interested in science because i want my career to be a chemical engineer.. and im really good @ science so it makes it easier to like it. I killed at my games last week which i always tell Mr. Potter to come to them but he never shows up...lol its all good cuzz rite when he asks me to come to a bball game i wont be anywhere to be found..lol.but had no volleyball practice friday so all i had to do is get my shoes fitted for bball..just gettin to my blog lowkey forgot about it this weekend but gettin it done.still gotta comment on other peoples posts so imma stop rite about here so i can get a decent amount of sleep dueces!! : )

Another Blog
had a crazy week!. near the end of the week someone decided to steal my bookbag?!.. i kno crazy!! lol but i got it back the next day.. dont know someone who would do that but hey people are crazy..im gonna find out who it was but im gonna look @ the security cameras on monday. I know it was a football player cuz it was in the football lockeroom when the coach called me to tell me he found it... but i only got one peice of homework done tht night because of classroom portals and moodle :) lol thank goodness we didnt have homework in english that night because Mr. Potter probably wouldn't believe what happen. getting all the extra homework done this weekend wasn't too bad there wasn't much to do.. i ddnt get to go to the football game like i wanted to last friday bcuz i askd @ the last minute and cuudnt go because of family plans : / but i gess family comes first cuzz football games will always be there but family wont.. well its beenn a good 15 minutes so im duecin out!! peace and love : )

1rst Blog!!
so my phone didn't want to work when i tried to log onto the website to make my first post but okay. Ive been sitting here for about 5 minutes trying to find out how to make it work but my phone is being lazy and it doesn't want to load.. but hey.. that means 10 more minutes to go!! I got done with my rough draft of our persuasion essay about 25 minutes ago and that was boring... i had to do research on my topic to make most of it and now i still have to go back and take out all the contractions and stuff ://. but were probly gonna do that stuff in class with our peers' help thank goodness.. now i got about 6 minutes left..YAY!!...so dont really know what to write about....oooo how about this blogg post edit thing! lol it has bold, and you can change the font and you can underline, and you can change the color AANND you can highlight words and you can add a link, and theres spell ccheek haha and you can cross out words and you can make the text really big or really small haha. i kinda like this thing....oo!
